About Me#

I am a systems thinker who considers himself a generalist and lives as a mixed operator.
I have over a decade of experience building AI/ML control systems at the industry frontier, both as engineer and manager. In a past life, I was an actor, and starred in a few TV shows your kids may remember.
I am interested in self-organizing social and computational systems. I wrote Console One, a fully distributed agentic programming platform well before it was broadly commercialized, and I created Toronto Picking Garbage club to provide people with local and consistent communities with constitutions that model the best of our values.
I currently have a few active projects, focused on agentic control in distributed systems, and value loading arguments for moral internalism in culture and AI training datasets.
This website contains my thoughts on all the above - informal writings on ethics, intelligence, technology, economics and art.
